Hi all, please help me to ID this half dollar dated 1965, I`m 99% sure this is Double Die, not MDD. If someone can help me with some online site, and please confirm this is DDO, not Machine Doubling? There is no doubling on design or other letters, only "HALF DOLLAR" is doubled. Thank you

The "doubled" area in question looks quite flat. Also if it were doubling it would be DDR! Here is similar MD on a 73-D Half:

Hi, Pete2226 My coin has "one-side" doubling only, not both side as on the coin in your post. Believe me, I have hundreds of MD coins and none looks like as the half dollar in this topic. Also there are shift the duplication from the beginning towards the end of the inscription. The first letter "H" is with very little doubling.

, unfortunately, it's definitely MD and not a DDR. * People do collect MD coins, especially real nice one's and your half dollar is a real nice MD specimen!

Look at the "DO" on DOLLAR. You can see the reduction of the overall shape of the devices. Machine damage to the devices.
