thedollarman Pillar of the Community Canada 4911 Posts	Posted 07/25/2015 7:25 pm After coming across an example in the $170 range about 5 years ago I have looked at every 1939 I have come across and never found one. I purchased this one not knowing it was a quadruple HP but thinking it was a nicely doubled example. thedollarman Pillar of the Community Canada 4911 Posts	Posted 07/25/2015 7:29 pm My theory as to the rarity of this piece is that the majority of the coins off this obverse were part of the excess batch that was sent back to the mint for melting. I have never seen a triple HP....the 4xHP is strange. It is not listed anywhere and I can't see any in the auction records I've checked. It is only listed in Charlton. Feel free to call me Will.
