Stopped by my local gas station convenience store yesterday and in the charity box next to the cash-wrap were at lease a dozen Ike's. along with a dozen or more halves and a bunch of golden dollars. As far as I could see there were no silver coins in there.

I asked the cashier about it and he said there are a couple retirees that often use these coins and leave others in the box. That is exactly the same response I heard from a Walgreen's cashier a month or so ago down the road.

I told him if he ever found them in his cash drawer (other than the goldens that is...) save them for me and I will buy them.

While I doubt I will ever get any silver this way, one never knows. Plus the Ike's are just so cool since they are so huge.

Contact the charity and offer them your experience. Think of it as CRH for a cause!
