I recently purchased this 1915-D Lincoln and when I took a few pics noticed a crack or break right inside the reverse rim. It runs from about 11:30 to 3:00 and corresponds to a rim flaw on each end. Has anybody ever seen this before? Any ideas on how it happened? I'd guessing it may have been a lamination that cracked when the rims were upset. Any comments are appreciated.

I know nothing about this, but thought there was a similar coin, and they said it was a die issue

Yes, it's in a problem-free PCGS slab. You'd never notice the crack without 10X magnification. The obverse is to die for an easy 65. The coin graded 64BN.
