It's been awhile since Charles Davis has held a book auction, I regularly buy from him on
ebay and directly, he is a very knowledgable book dealer (he catalogued the Armand Champa book sale for Bowers and Merena, which brought well over a million dollars). His next sale has some of the most amazing items I've seen since the Champa sale...
How about the only known copy of Sylvester S. Crosby's The Early Coins of America and the Laws Governing Their Issue.. Profusely Illustrated,1873-1875
with the original wrappers unbound and complete in all 12 parts?

That lot should bring close to $10,000.00 heck even Crosby's own copy wasn't this original and nice.
