I just won an item on ebay today and proceeded to pay for it through PayPal/eBay mobile. I went through the process and submitted it, only to get an error. Can't remember what it said word for word, but basically told me it couldn't process my payment at this time. So I tried a second time and this time it said my item had already been paid for. That really threw me off. I decided I will check my ebay on the computer instead of fooling with the mobile and lo and behold it came up with this.. UNPAID?

What's-Up-With-This?

Alright, so I checked my PayPal account and it shows that the money has been withdrawn from my PayPal balance and that the seller has shipped.

I dug a little deeper and found this under my "order details" in "My ebay". Two separate shipping labels for the same item as if I paid twice? PayPal balance shows it was only charged once.

What's-Up-With-This?

Has anyone ever seen this happen before? My item appears to be paid for and is shipped, but I don't understand why ebay is continuing to show that it hasn't been paid.

Now my PayPal is telling me the payment has been refunded, while ebay is still telling me that the item was never paid for to begin with.

You can call 'em. ebay reps can usually figure it out pretty quickly.

Sounds like strange things are a foot at the circle K

I would call ebay and PayPal. Somethings up weather it's a glitch or something else.

I got in contact with the seller and we're getting things worked out. Apparently PayPal was having issues and it was refunding payments without the seller issuing them. Although the item still says "Unpaid" on ebay, the seller got my payment the second time around and they will be shipping it out tomorrow. What a mess for everyone, especially the seller!
