I'm 99% sure it is dark because of something that happened to it after it was made. That makes it worth face value.
You could benefit from better pictures if you're planning on posting coins. You could start by cropping. You can use the free image resizer available on site. Btw, welcome to the forum, India.

I pulled an Ohio State Quarter out of my best friend's yard once that looked a lot like this Arizona one. Amazing what a few years in the ground can do.
