A large amount of people that walk into my LCS bring Statehood Quarters in and think they are worth $1,000+ dollars because it says 1787 on the top of the reverse.

Little do they know to look at the bottom, when it says 1999.

Same thing happens with bicentennial quarters, they think it's from 1776...LOL

I messaged him as well but he didn't reply to me. I wonder how many other people pointed out his error to him. Enough and it might help explain why he was testy. Especially if some of them didn't do so politely or ridiculed him.
