very nice coin minus the enviromental damage. :( Was in an aluminum tackle box for years (NO, I didn't put it there). Didn't pay attention when I pulled it out, but I'd venture to guess; it was face down.

A cleaning with acetone on obverse might match reverse.
Then you will have a nice AU.
