Well the buyer that stole the coins is scum, but I'm having a hard time feeling too much sympathy for someone who leaves his $600K life savings in easily salable gold coins in the car while he goes into a back booth in a restaurant for an extended negotiation. As they say a fool and his money are soon parted.

Come on, released on $30,000 bail after stealing $600K from an elderly person? Rubbish. This guy is a predator and needs to be treated as such. Bet there is going to be a trail of victims that this perp leaves in his wake to feed his addiction. |
