Modern Coin Mart - Back by popular demand, the Australian Silver Wedge Tailed Eagle coin is released for a second time from the Perth Mint! The outstanding engraving is the work of 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, John Mercanti. This was the first collaboration in history between a US Mint engraver and a world Mint.

On the reverse of this beautiful coin is an intricate design of an Australian wedge tailed eagle in flight. Its wings are spread wide and its claws are opened as it descends to land on a branch. On the obverse of this coin is an effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. This splendid effigy was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, and is used on the obverse of most commonwealth currency.

With an engraving by famous US Mint Engraver John Mercanti, this 2015 Silver Wedge Tailed Eagle coin is a wonderful addition to any collection of world or US coins.

Yeah the BIN for the 2015 PR70 non-HR is $149 when others have sold for close to $300. I only need them for my album though but seems like a good deal with only 108 graded 70.
