Picked these up off ebay as a lot for under $20. As soon as I received them, gave them an acetone bath. Pretty pleased with the results (except there wasn't much hope for the 1900, but I'm going to let it soak a while longer).

Very pleasing results. Getting that "gunky" black stuff off is always great and it even got rid of the tape glue remnants.

GOOD JOB in helping save a couple more Barbers!

Thanks rahtbarg for the quick reply. I have some coins that look similar to yours. I've never used acetone and wasn't sure how long to soak them.
