Large cent - VF-25? IHC - can't really tell from the photo 'cuz it's a little too blurry. It has nice color, but the high points seem to have some discoloration. Can't tell if it's just discoloration or actual wear or rub. If it's wear, AU-55+, but if it's just discoloration, MS-63 RB

LC looks cleaned and VF-25.
Indian, even after the better photos, is tough to tell because the glare is covering the areas we want to see. For certain it is a higher grade circulated, at the least.
The 1909 has always been surprisingly difficult to find nice. At least it always has been for me.

LC definitely cleaned, forget it. Still not enough detail on IHC.

VF details cleaned on the large cent. The IHC appears to be an AU example, either cleaned or recolored. I would not consider either to be problem-free.

F15 maybe VF20 max on the large cent probably cleaned many years ago but is an acceptable example. If you paid $25 as is on the 2X2 that is OK. I would buy it any day of the week for my collection. The Indian cent has been messed with big time. The color is bad.

Quote: This is why I buy third party certified You are however getting an education with in-hand examples that have a few issues to them and that you cannot get from problem free coins in a holder. This form of collector education is key to learning to spot raw coins that have problems and as you progress you can begin to pick off problem free coins in your hunt.

It's good to buy coins that have issues sometimes just so you know what to look for when you go to buy nicer examples of those coins.
If you like the coin, and don't plan on reselling it, why not keep them and enjoy them until (or if) you decide to upgrade to nicer examples?
The 1851 is cleaned, lightly porous, and has some minimal scratches. The 1909 "looks" MS64, but I would add Questionable Color to that. It's certainly got the details of a MS coin.
