Ow, trying to figure out Japanese kanei tsuho coins from the Krauses gives me a headache, and I don't have any other books that include Japanese cash. I've found this website to be a helpful one-stop shop, especially since these coins cross three centuries.

So, using that site, I'd classify this one as "old style legs", dating it to the period 1636-1656. Listed in the 1600's Krause as KM/C# 1.1.
