Not 001 , your coin has a ball serif mintmark. What on your coin say class VI to you

Extra thickness date and liberty. Maybe oo6. Maybe I got my coins mixed up. lol

I do see the thickness you are looking at but it may be from circulation. Notice the Y in Liberty of your coin. It's battered and spread almost to the point of looking like a V.
I have a 1930 that I hold onto as an example because it's just hard to believe something that thick isn't a class VI

Yes, there is quite a bit of wear on this one. The B is huge and the date is bigger than most, especially the 9.
