I am in the process of doing a Cud collection when I encountered this 1919(P) Buffalo nickel. It was encapsulated by PCGS @ MS-64.

While it does have a rim Cud, what I found more interesting was the off center die clash event

The above image shows the Indian's neck clashed into the reverse along with a die crack.

The next image shows the rim Cud.

This is the interesting image. The top arrow shows the clash mark generated by the field and the junction of the bridge of the buffalo's nose. The second arrow shows the clash mark generated by the neck and the hump of the buffalo.

The question; would you consider the top clash mark to be a fourth feather?

Forth feather may cause a bit of confusion. My first thought would be to see if it was a doubled die , but it is catchy.

I would call it Five Feathers.
