I'm pretty sure that's a token of some sort, don't recognize the motif and the piece feels plain.

But exactly what it is I cannot answer.

Is this around one inch diameter? If so it could be a Japanese patinko token. That is a game played on a vertical pinball macine. Although, your token looks better than any patinko that I''ve seen.

It is a Chinese medal commemorating Han Xiangzi who was one of the Eight Immortals.
