I was going through some coins I had stored away and came across this. Has a noticeable amount of rotation for a modern coin. Does this add anything significant to the value?  *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. *** |

I think you are hanging right on the edge of what was tolerated. I don't think its dramatic enough to draw a premium ontop of the 14-d price. I think a substantial rotation is that of 45° or more. I may be mistaken though.

It's definitely a bonus though that might help it sell quickly at top retail

I think if the coin was in better shape and didn't have a details grade it would bring more of a premium with the rotated die. As is, it is a cool conversation piece but not sure how much value it adds

Oddly enough many people think rotated reverses are a not liked appearance. Some will not buy a coin due to that.

Not sure about the rotation value... I am still stuck on the fact that you just came across a 1914-D Lincoln Cent you had. That is nice.  |

Which now begs the question... What is in the other slab?  Your reason makes sense. I have a few miscellaneous albums that I rarely view and when I do I often ask myself, "When did I get that coin?"  |

The other is an 1827 N-12 large cent. I'd crack it out, but last time I opened a slab I almost lost an eye from flying debris. I'll actually have 4 soon as my C&C Truman set should arrive today.
