With my Truman C&C submission, I enclosed a note stating that the mint left the pamphlet out of one of my sets. They sent me one!
Also, their packing is amazing. they seal every edge of the box making it completely tamper proof. Nice work.

I'd have to disagree, CanadaCoinCollector. NGC is WAY better. Besides, buy the coin not the slab!

I've been a pcgs guy for over 2 years and just signed up with ngc for the truman c&c and I can say that from my experience with them so far from their fees to ease of submitting to fees to customer service to fees to possibility of a more lenient grade to fees etc. I may be giving the bulk of my future business to NGC now.
I now see what you've been preaching all this time SD. I can see the possibility of a shift in the top dog slot more clearly now... But I still like the clear slabs better

I actually like the black slabs better. Unfortunately they only offer them at the end of the year. I asked their CS why, and she said they get that question a lot.

I like to hear when good things happen to people. The majority of coins I see tend to be in NGC holders and I believe it has a lot to do with the cost of submission. In reality it shouldn't matter who graded it as long as you are happy with the coin itself though I can agree what surrounds the coin can make it more or less attractive.

I like NGC better, but PCGS seems to be more popular.

The feeling I got, especially from their fees, is that PCGS doesn't want to work with the small guys. Even when I contacted PCGS's "dealers", they didn't want to be bothered with a small order. That's why I went with NGC.

I prefer PCGS simply because I like the holder. Since most of my collection is in PCGS holders I will stick with them as my OCD would kick in with different types of slabs. I just buy them already graded and call it a day.

I personally do not like the new NGC holders. If you try to take a picture of just the coin, you end up with four little indents at 10, 2, 5 and 7 o'clock that I find very distracting. But maybe that's my OCD kicking in.

I buy almost exclusively NGC coins. I've done business with PCGS and really have no complaints with them but I believe I will like NGC better. Maybe its because I have registry sets with them and their registry program is as far as I'm concerned much more friendlier to use. I'm going to become a paying member and I have in excess of a 100 coins that I want to send in. So I will certainly find out how much I like them.
