I thought you might like to see my CWT collection set up in a CAPS Album. The album has spaces for 137 coins (plus 13 blank spaces) covering all the R.1 and R.2 Patriotic Civil War Tokens. The CAPS Album is new, organizing coins in Air-Tite holders. I just need 20 coins to complete the set. I can take photos of individual coins if you want to see them.

VERY NICE! I've never seen that binder before, and really like it. Love the way it lists the tokens. Please post some close-up pictures of some tokens.

I'll put up some individual photos tomorrow. One thing I like about the album is that both sides of the page are labeled. No more flipping back and forth to see what coin you are looking at.

I like Civil War Tokens in general because they have character. The dies are prepared by hand and each one is unique. They help tell the story about a pivotal moment in our nation's history. And they are obtainable. Every token in this album can be found in decent condition for under $20. There are 137 R.1 or R.2 (i.e., the most common varieties) in this album.

This is one of my favorite tokens, not because of the condition, but because of the misspelling "Shoot him on the spoot".

This is my reddest uncirculated CWT, in spite of a couple of carbon spots.

I like this token because it is reminiscent of our new shield cent.

Cool specimens! I suppose the history buffs (me included) can appreciate these from our interests in the Civil War and coins (tokens). I see these come up on the bid board at my LCS, but I haven't taken a shot at any yet. There appear to be a few folks putting in bids!
