I found this in a roll of Nickles, looks copper I looked at it close with a loop, doesn't look plated. Any thoughts?

Do you think you could get a more focused shot on both sides of it? It's near impossible to tell from this picture.

Maybe a metal detecting find, it's hard to tell from the pictures.

Make a small scratch on the outside edge of the coin. If it is corrosion, then it will show silver. If it isn't and is copper it might be an incorrect planchet. But if it were an incorrect planchet, the weight would be the same as the other planchet (cent) and smaller in diameter. Your coin appears normal sized, so betting on the coin found of outdoors theory.

I've dug up many metal detecting, but never one like that. It really looks coppery. Can you weigh it?

I agree, the first pic looked like copper, it must have been the lighting or something.

I see silver color. If it were copper, it would be dark.
