It was done in the mint parking lot, so it happened on mint property, therefore it's not PMD! |

Looks like a "THUD" (or several THUD's) error not a Cud. |

This is quite common. Non collectors see something atypical and think it must be a valuable error. Saw a listing once for a corroded quarter and the seller insisted that it was missing the clad on BOTH sides.

Here'a an unusual one: 1964-P Jefferson nickel that was shot dead-center with a .45 Colt pistol. Saw it done, quite impressive trick. Guy that shot it was a Marine DI who ran the firing range at the Boy Scout camp I went to. Standing, combat grip, range 10 yards. Bang. It's cupped about 3/8 in. which is why the face is out of focus.
