While looking through some of the links you guys shared these past couple of days for the error coins I
came across a die crack that made me think of something
I saw the other day with the 1969S I posted. Because of the color of the 1969s it didn't really show in all the pictures, but I noticed a line that went down from
his forehead down through his eye. Any opinions if this might be a die crack?

Thank you. I can maybe try taking another picture black and white see if it's easier to
see. The color of this penny is so pretty, but
very hard to get a good picture. I'll have to try
to get another one later on after work.

There are some pictures of die cracks on this page: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/error.html
If the line is raised from the coins surface, it is probably a die crack. If it is incuse, it is most likely a scratch on the coin.
The photos are a little blurry for me to tell for sure what it is.

Thank you cwb. I don't know I'm
frustrated with this one. I can't make
It out with the magnifying glass and the
more I try to get close up pictures it doesn't
want to work with me on getting a good picture
I think I'm going to put this one away for a bit till
I get a better magnifying glass to be able to
see it better. Thank you though..

You can try looking at the coin from an angle, sometimes that helps to see if it is a raised line or not.
