Im sure this has been asked about a hundred times but what was you best find ever in CRH?
Follow up I've search 5 boxes of nickels so far but no buffalos and only 4 War Nickels. Is this normal or bad luck? Thx in advance!

You have some pretty good luck! Do you check for doubled dies or RPMs?

For me that's pretty bad luck. My last nickel box had 2 2009's, 3 buffaloes, and 3 War Nickels. Typically nickels are very good for me.

Best find is maybe a the IHC in my signature. I think my favorite was the 1920 buffalo. I've found a couple impaired proofs too which are always a nice surprise. Silver is fun as well.

I do not think we have one labeled as the "best find" in CRH.

We have a thread for oldest finds...

and a thread for oldest or most interesting...

https://goccf.com/t/140310

and a thread for worst finds...

and a thread for out of place finds...

Well I have had quite a few good finds all via member rolls of halves....but my best one was about a month ago I bought $30 in halves and $20 of it was all 40% halves. Not a bad score. Hoping to do well on 4 boxes tomorrow after work.

Nickelfinder, I asked if you searched for errors, not jubuck. Lol. You really should check for those though.

Jbuck is good at tracking down related threads. For some reason I have trouble tracking some of my old posts. Gotta keep him on speed dial.

If I have to go with 1 best, I'd probably say a box with 214 Franklins. My best single coin find is impossible for me to say. In contention for various "best" categories would be a 3 cent nickel, a bunch of V nickels in a box, 300+ 40%er box, rotated die (1988 Kennedy), 1864 IHC, 1909VDB, 1864(I think) 2 cent piece, and others. I could name any one of those "best" for different reasons. I guess it's hard to say which is "best" because the criteria is so subjective..
