I can see the character 'Yuán' on it, but otherwise I can't see a denomination nor a date. It looks to be some sort of Communistic achievement medal, almost. Can't tell exactly what it is but I'd say definitely some sort of medal commemorating something.

It is a Chinese medal commemorating Marshal Xu Xiangqian who was one of the "10 Great Marshals" of China.

Yuan shuai translates as "Marshal".

The medal of Xu Xiangqian is one medal in a set of ten commemorating the "Ten Marshals".

Incidentally, the entire set of ten medals including the album can be purchased wholesale at that Chinese website for $1.49 (RMB 9.5) each if you order at least 100 sets.

I think they are silver though not iron as stated on (Not Allowed)
