The number you choose, which site is it from? Coppercoins, Wexler's varieties or CONECA or something else?

The place look first for a DDR on wheat cents is on the dots between the EPU.

Your coin looks normal in that area. Then I look at the devices. If they are thicker than normal I take a second look. But if the dots are not enlarged, then it looks slim to me. Other devices could be enlarged. The wheat lines of the tails of the stalks.

But keep in mind that circulation wear/flattening can affect one device or several in a row. That is what can throw us off with just one device affected. So if you could get some closer shots of the EPU (three-four devices) then that might show us more?

John1, when I've been in doubt, I've found the thickness in the horizontal bar of the L to be a good tell (rhyme unintentional). :)

The horizontal bar on the L looks thick to me. I am pretty sure it's a DDR but maybe not 004. I am putting it in a 2x2 and label it as 004? Thanks for all the input.
