Thanks for all the feedback on this. I am quite certain that the feature I am inquiring about is not PMD. I am rather new to the hobby, however I think I have advanced enough to recognize a die crack and a die chip when I see them. I apologize that my photos are not so great, but they are the best I can do currently, my equipment is limited. I still am not certain that what I have qualifies as a Cud, I highly respect the opinion of BJ Neff, as well as the opinion of koinpro. I tend to agree with koinpro's opinion, the photos are not that good and a decision can not be made based on them. As I stated earlier in the thread, even though I have the coin in hand, I cannot say for certain that the feature is connected to the rim. Thus the topic of this post ...Is this a Cud? I do not expect to be proven wrong or right because I do not know. The post was intended for myself and others to learn from, I am learning ...hope you are as well.
