The seller's record supports his assertion that he's no expert, and I'm of the opinion that he's not even aware of the seriousness of the issue. Wish there were an official channel to address the issue politely, but there aren't really any official channels at all at ebay these days. Report this Post to the Staff

paralyse Bedrock of the Community United States 12057 Posts	Posted 08/24/2015 5:56 pm I think folks forget at times that ebay has to balance the opinions of someone reporting an item (which may or may not be accurate) vs. the economic and potential legal liability associated with suspending or delisting an item on suspicion of a listing violation, especially with larger (i.e. very profitable) seller accounts. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 08/25/2015 11:41 am Followed the link and it is gone, but ebay gives their list of "Items found similar to Continental Currency 1776 Coin Pewter Appearence Estate Find" and there are three more fakes on the first page of listings (There are a few more but those are identified as reproductions.). One with no bids, one with bids of $52, and one with bids of $70. Report this Post to the Staff
