With only one more week of the NFL preseason left....HERE WE GO!
Brief rule summary:
- pick 1 team every week
- each pick must be in every THURSDAY by 5:00pm forum time
- once you pick a team you cannot pick that team again
- if your team wins, you continue in the contest
- if your team loses or ties you are OUT
- if you fail to make a pick or you pick a team you have already used, you are OUT
- once you pick there will be no editing; editing = OUT
- I will post a summary of each player who is eliminated each week
- as we get down to the last few players, if all remaining players are eliminated in the same week, then those same remaining players will be alive to continue the game as before (example; let's say 3 players are left in week 9 and they all lose that week, all three of them would come back to keep duking it out until we have 1 player left standing)
- last person standing gets a coin/currency related gift from all of the players (losers choice)

I think that would be the order of those exiting the game, except the last two are mixed up.  |

Nice, the friendly trash-talking is already beginning :) Looking forward to seeing how this plays out this year. It is always fun to see how each NFL team stacks up with one another and deals with injuries, pressure, and the all-around fun that comes with the start of the regular season.

Funny story Cascade...I just watched your unboxing video for the Truman NGC coins and combined with some of your other posts I have read, I got to thinking that you seem like my kind of guy and seem to have a good sense of humor. So as I read your posts in this NFL contest thread I saw that you have well over 3000 posts and I thought, "why did this guy not play in any of my previous NFL contests?" I figured with that many posts you had been on here for a few years at least...maybe you were just snubbing me...maybe you thought you were too good for this contest...but then I saw where you joined in December 2014 and was like....wow this guy has a serious post count, very nice.
Okay so that wasn't a very funny story, but I thought I would put it on here and share it.

The first week is pretty brutal IMO. I am expecting 1/4 or up to 1/3 to be out in all KOTH leagues.

I'm just on a mission to catch up to jbuck is all  Thanks for the kind words, once I found this place and learned more about morgans in 2 days than the previous 2 years I was hooked, then a few months later I came into a large coin inheritance quantity wise mostly which I would have been mostly lost on if not for finding this place first. I have a smartphone and don't play games and such so my bored wait time throughout the day is mostly spent perusing ccf  What's that rod stewert song about wishing you knew what you know now when you were younger. Which team is Rooney playing for.. I'll pick them :) I think he plays on the Minnesota North Stars team if I recall correctly? Wait, are you guys saying I don't have a chance at this? lol. 1 week until we're live!

You can put your pick in anytime elimist. Obviously some people wait until closer to Thursday due to possible injuries, trades, etc, but you are free to put you pick in anytime (just realize that once you pick a team you cannot change your mind).
