I received the coin below as a Christmas present. I was a little surprised, as I don't have an interest as such in coins.... however, now I have one I'd like to know a little about it if anyone can help, history, value etc! I've tried to research it but can find very little information - to be honest I don't even know if it's coin at all! Your expertise and knowledge might just help me find out alittle more!

Thanks in advance

True it appears to be some type of token or medal. What size is it? How heavy is it?

A coworker of mine also has one of these. I had never seen one and would really appreciate any info that I could pass along. I will try to get some specs on it and when I do, post them. Thanks!

It's 1 and a half inches in diameter and feels heavier than it looks, I don't have any means by which to weigh it exactly.

Thanks for your replies
