I'm running out of new inventory to peruse so I want to know what online sources everyone else is using. Only the places you've actually bought from in the last year though.

I've been using Joel's Coins for some of those oddball OFEC coins. His prices are reasonable and he gives some good background info on the coins:

I've also been hitting MA Shops for German State coinage. The shipping is a little pricey, but the inventory is amazing:

So where have you beem shopping?

Although we do not have an online store we at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations have a large selection of world FAO coins for sale.

All coins are in uncirculated condition and there are a number of silver proof coins.

The prices for the non silver coins are between 35% and 50% of Krause values depending on quantity ordered and the silver ones are mainly at 50% of Krause values.
If you are interested in receiving an excel spreadsheet listing the coins please email me.

Here are a few that may pique your interest:

www.am-nat.net There's an out-of-date online list of coins, which will give you an idea, but call or e-mail on specific items not listed. The higher value coins don't go on the web. On a recent visit I picked up an 1831 rouble and an 1872-cc seated half, so quite a range of coins are available. I saw a lot of German state coins there on a visit, but don't know the subject.

www.allensinc.com Lots of foreign as well as US, usually common but not always. Most recently I picked up a group of early centimes, and was pleased with an 1844 quarter eagle I picked up earlier in the year.

www.harlanjberk.com The on-line photos are about the best on the web. Best deal recently was on 4 reales Potosi cobs - but they were cheaper in the store than what is shown on the web.

ww.cgb.fr Only if you have the money - they write the guidebook, set the grades and price accordingly. I'm pleased with some early 5 Franc Union et Forces from them. The site is astonishing if you have any interest at all in French coins. In addition to the on-line store, there are piles of auction results/photos and a link to a photo collection of the best condition French coins known to exist.

www.onlinecoins.co.uk A group of 5-6 dealers in all things English. I've gotten some nice type hammered coins - well, nice by my standards - including a reasonably priced Commonwealth shilling I carry in my pocket.

www.dnecoins.com Don's offerings are very eclectic. After reading Sap's passionate history of the Pragergroschen, I found one here, reasonably priced. Also have gotten some nice 1/2 real cobs here.

Hope there was something new for you here - happy hunting!

thq - That's the type of stuff I'm looking for! I've never crossed paths with either dne (you forgot the I in coins in your link) or the french site. Thanks for the links.
