I think all 1999 circulation strike cents are Close AM. But a Close AM in 1999-S proof is a rare find.

Rob,your coin is normal for the date.The WAM in business strike is the one to look for.

Garoyn is correct. 1999 business strikes are the Close AM variety.

Yes, Close AM. The FG initials should be further from the right side of the memorial.

A 1999-S should have a Wide AM since that is the intended proof design.

Yes they do, but the WAM 1999-S is NOT the good one.
