I will post the slab immediately question is would you pay $400. I know the pictures are bad but a buddy I trust said he would buy it and he had it in his hand. He doesn't have ebay and doesn't want to sit on it.

I don't know if I agree with PCGS. also can't tell by photo if the MM is correct ,too blurry.
it doesn't look like ENV- damage detailed coin. I don't think a few hits on reverse
would designate it DETAILS. just my opinion.

Seems legit to me, but I can't tell 100% with those photos. Seems suspicious that he's selling it for that cheap...

Reverse appears to have corrosion? (Look at UNITED STATES on the reverse, raised lumps of metal)

Not sure about obverse, but color strongly suggests an old cleaning; that may be your "Damage"..

$400 for that coin.....no problem. Looks like a nice example of XF details, and would easily sell on ebay for way more than that. Grab it, imo.

I would buy this if I were you and flip it. Agree, you'd get more than $400.
I had a similar AU details env. damage that sold for almost $1,000.

Tell us honestly - why would you want a detailed coin here for this price, when a clean-grade example wouldn't be that much more?
