coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/07/2015 3:39 pm Tough call on this one. The contact mark on the EPU makes it hard to tell for sure. The marker appears to be a match, but that is a common area for die chips. The die wear on the UNUM looks a bit different. But keep it for now. Coin contact changes the real shape of the hub doubling. The die crack on the head look correct. But could you show us an image of "OF". there is some markers there? Report this Post to the Staff
Pete41 Valued Member United States 261 Posts	Posted 09/07/2015 5:59 pm Read a day or so ago that one of the first places to look for DDO on wheat cents is the dots on EPU. Does look to be elongated on this one which corresponds with a DDO. Other experts should weigh in for sure. Report this Post to the Staff
Slamnbass Pillar of the Community United States 3644 Posts	Posted 09/07/2015 11:15 pm Thanks for the input-yea this one has me perplexed now as well because I can't for the life of me see the die markers above OF-is it possible to have the properly placed die chips and die crack and not be it or more possible for the die markers above OF to have worn?
