Hard to tell here, but it kind of looks like a diving goose in a regular holder. What do you all think? I put it on my watch list.

Not the real deal. Slight die rotation and commonly found in 1967 PL sets. The real Diving goose ( severe die rotation) dollars and the double struck dollars and halves are note worthy back door jobs from somewhat dishonest mint workers who sold the coins to various dealers in the late 1960 s.

So I turned the coins in photo shop and measured the rotation, which appears to be a 30 degree rotation. The seller says it is 20 degree rotation. If it is in fact a 30 deg rotation, the coin is worth $1000. At 20 deg it is about $500. At 10 deg it is about $50.

Very fickle these rotated geese :). There is a double struck diving goose on auction on ebay that is already soaring past $500 with 4 days or so left.

This coin is a minor rotation, worth around 60.00, the 45% rotation is the coin worth close to 1000.00 depending on grade.

John, here is another auction for a coin that is in 30 degree rotation, albeit double struck, that is also a 'diving goose'. This coin is near $800 CDN right now. Does that mean that this coin is also not a 'diving goose' as listed? See:

Here is the coin in question, with the plane and view point properly adjusted. The goose could actually do 1 more degree to the right on rotation, but this clears it up a bit.
