Picked this up on Saturday and wanted to share it.

The '28-F $2 star is one of the two most common stars in the 1928 series, but it's still a tough note.

It's in a GGA holder, but the paper wave and deep embossing are clear through the holder.

Thanks for sharing. I'm working through my $2 USN and FRN collection and I can appreciate the difficulty in getting these stars!

CK - Thanks for the kind reply. According to the signature combination, this would have been printed between 1946-1949. Julian first became Treasurer in 1933!

1928 $2 red seals are tough and that's a very nice looking note!

Here's a few of my very rough examples.. (I don't think I'll ever get all the keys!)

I collect watches too, so sticker shock went away long ago. looking through some completed heritage sales though it's definitely eye opening.
