Thanks for your advice.Yes, probably MS63 at the most. I was hoping the double turkey chin might be a desirable coin which would exceed the value of a normal coin.

I posted these photos two years ago and nobody has responded to inform me they have seen a similar coin with a die crack lamination error combined. I understand that a die crack is one thing but have never seen this combined with a planchet lamination defect. Help anyone? Has anyone ever seen a double chin Lincoln Cent besides this one?
Rest in Peace

Circulated coin, AU55 tops. Isn't worth but $4 on the market realistically, ebay may sucker the unknowing for $10 Slabbing costs are WAY over that, don't be dumb. Isn't that big of a deal error.

I have seen one like this, but it was on a Franklin half dollar on ebay a long time ago. Here's the link. It from the same exact year 1958 D https://www.ebay.com/itm/1958-D-FRA...OSwnHZYSGqG. But the big problem here is the seller listed it for 54.99 and nobody wants to buy it. Your coin is still a keeper, just not worth a lot of money.

Thank you for the photo of the Franklin half with the goiter. The first I have seen besides mine. I think I'll just put this Lincoln in my own slab. It is pretty interesting to look at.

You're welcome. That's interesting to see on a Franklin half dollar though. You can put your coin in your own slab if you want, but just remember it will cost a lot of money and exceed over the coin's value. It's your choice though. It still interesting to look at. :)

There are now two known examples of this die chip coin. It should be known as a new variety in the known errors of the 1958-D Lincoln Cents.

There are probably thousands of them as this die aged and was eventually moved to retirement.
