Hi everyone!

I was in the local antique shop when something caught my eye. I asked the seller about it and he had no idea, but they were probably from the '20s, but I'm not so sure. It's a display with 3 spearheads and beads.

I'm a complete noob at ancient artifacts, but I'm wondering if the spearheads and beads are indeed ancient. Please forgive me if it's a completely stupid thought. The price point for these is $195.

As always, I really appreciate your expertise!

Thanks so much,

Erin :)

This is not ancient coin related, but I know some folks here do collect ancient artifacts also so I will leave the thread here for a little while.

Impossible to check without better pics of every spearhead and a few pics of the beads.I have my doubts about the spearheads - the tail is to long. The beads may be 2th or 3th century glass beads. They look more authentic than the spearhead, but difficult to say more with this pics.albert

I believe the spear points are from the Bura culture of Africa.

Thanks for the input, Bob and Albert.

The display was behind a glass case and the seller wasn't there when I actually took the picture.

I looked up the Bura culture and the spearheads look the same.

Yeah, I'm pretty certain of the attribution...Bura spear points have a very distinctive shape, with very long "tangs" (the extended part below the barbed head).
