I picked a few Morgans that arrived in the mail today. I'm hoping that you guys can help identify the variety if present.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The 81s has Sooooo many vams I don't even bother with attributing them past checking for top list ones personally. Same goes with the 21's

Looks to be VAM-38, but it appears that my 's' could be doubled. Maybe I should send this to John @ VSS, or not worth the effort/cash?
Rest in Peace

It looks like an S/S down to me. I'm at work & don't have enough time to investigate the many listings. I'll check back this evening after work.

Thanks dave700x. With some more searching and looking, I think it's a VAM-10: http://www.vamworld.com/1881-S+VAM-10

I just think my die state is alittle later because my doubled 's' is not as strong with the pronounced spike. I have like half a spike, lol.

You input is much appreciated, thanks again.
Rest in Peace

I agree with you on the obverse die for VAM10 but I'm not sure about the reverse die. I didn't find any exact match for the reverse (S/S).
