so over the weekend I was able to pick up a couple of these from a coin show and a lower premium than there current value.. They have box and COA, Not sure as to whether or not I shoul send them in at a chance for PF-70 or just keep them in the original packaging.. Anyone here had luck at getting a 70 on the proof eagles? BTW, this is the lowest mintage of all the Platinum eagles "excluding the burnished platinum eagles" so it is considered a key date

I pulled a couple 70s at PCGS on 1oz Pt eagles. Got 3 69s on the same submission. If yours look perfect at 5X it worth a shot. Any tiny flaw/spot/tone and there's really no chance though.
