just wondering what everyones favorite commemorative are. I'm kind of getting an inch for them. I just got the 1990 Eisenhower and the 2013 5 star general silver dollar.

Good question, and both of those are nice coins.

I saw this thread and thought it would be better posted
in the commemorative coin section

I'm sure a mod will move it to the appropriate forum.

I do like the 5-star, but I think my favorite recent one is this year's US Marshals Service.

I have those as well.

(Both proof and uncirculated Eisenhower dollars, uncirculated 5-Star dollar and half dollar.)

I also have 1982 Washington half dollars (proof and uncirculated), 1988 Seoul dollar (proof), 1991 Mount Rushmore dollar and half dollar (both proof), 2009 Lincoln (proof), and 2015 March of Dimes (proof).

Not the best of photos but I like the simplicity of this design.

I am looking forward to the Mark Twain commemorative for 2016. Some of the designs were a little iffy but they always look better in 3D than the cartoonish 2D preview images we get.

Nice photos, GR58 (as usual)!

I especially appreciate the one you chose to show first.

My favorite is either the 2001 Buffalo commem $1 or the 2006 San Fran earthquake coins (love the way they recreated the Morgan dollar and coronet $5 reverses)

My Favorite was the 1994 Vietnam Memorial until this year. There is just something about the 2015 U.S. Marshals coin!
