Chip, you have a clip. You can see the Blakesly Effect on opposite side of the coin (180-degrees from the clip). From the Coin Community glossary: "The weakness opposite the clip on a clipped planchet error coin. This occures during the upsetting process, because of the clip there is a lack in pressure to upset the rim directly opposite the clip."

Looks double clipped to me. You should be seeing blakesly effect on "TED" in "UNITED" and light blakesly on "DOLL" in "DOLLAR"

I almost agree with blue solo here cause it isn't 180°. But can it be offset like that? I would think so but idk? ?

Would need to see better pictures near "STATES" + obverse and on the edge near "STATES"
