So when I go to the bank I usually just get like $20-$30 in coin (nickels cents and quarters) I am getting more serious into the hobby. How should I get more bulk, like a box of cents? Should I call the bank ahead of time do they can make arrangements? Any info bwould e greatly appreciated!

I think you should call your bank ahead of time if you want a box or more. I call my bank on a Monday and order 10 boxes of cents and pick them up on Thursday. Good luck with your hunt. John1

If your bank takes in customer-rolled coin, ask them to save you a week or two's worth. I had three banks saving me about $2k-$3k per month in dimes, or whatever denomination was my flavor of the month. I did this for several years before I just tired of it.
Or, like others posted, order a box or two. Turnaround should be as soon as 3-5 days from order to pickup, on average.

I always need to call my supplier-bank by 8:30am Mondays to order coin boxes (cents/nickels/dimes/quarters) for the next Thursday. If I did not, then they most likely wouldn't have more than a few rolls available for me. Of course, you might also need a second bank to take the coins back to. I dump everything but a handful of 'keepers' to my second bank, and normally deposit 10% to the coin-counter bank and take the other 90% (paper cash) bank to my supplier bank by the end of the month so there's enough cash in that bank to pay my house/car/credit card/etc. payments. Some months I get as little as one box of cents; others I buy three to four boxes of cents/nickels/quarters. It all depends how my cash flow looks at the time.
