I found a local bank the had a coin counting machine. I went there today and opened a saving account there so I could dump coins w/o having to re-roll them,. While there, I asked if they had any Ikes and they had 9.. None were silver but got them for my collection

I cannot comprehend the mindset of someone who would not at least question what the Morgan or Peace dollar in their hand was instead of dumping it for a dollar. Aren't we glad some people think like this? Congrats pancake!

Picked up a box of pennies and asked if they had any large dollars too. Teller game me 22 Ike's. Nothing special but lots of BU coins. What do you guys do with your Ike's when you're done with them? Spend them/take them to the bank? I see coin dealers trying to sell them for $1.75 each haha A bit later when I was putting some upgrades in my brand new Ike book, I noticed something that kind of makes me cringe. Anybody notice anything missing besides the '72? Hint. Look at the dates.

A while back at my bank (I live in a small town), I was at the bank getting other types of coins, and I saw in the teller's tray some loose halves. I asked to buy them. Not only did the teller have the halves, but also had one bicentennial Ike dollar. I bought all of them. I have been coin roll hunting for years, and have made lots of different finds. I mainly coin roll hunt pennies because that is what I can afford.
