Hi there, I am new to CCF and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the value of my coin. It is a 1930 One Penny. Georgivs V Dei Gra : Britt: Omn: REX FID: DEF :IND : IMP On the one side of the coin there is what seems to be a soldier holding a shield and a triton, and on the other side the king.
I could email pictures to anyone interested in helping me out.
G'day, it's British, not Australian. An Australian penny of 1930, in the lowest grade, has a CV of $17,500. British pennies of the same year are less expensive. The "soldier" on the reverse is in fact "Britannia", a female. Peter in Oz
