I think I see broken luster on the cheek and the top bell lines. I vote for AU-something.

I usually tend to low-ball grades, but it looks like this took a minor beating. (Lots of contact marks, and off color spot by the eagle, some rim hits, and a pretty big hit under the bell across to the R in dollar.) I'd say AU-50 to 53 (not full bell lines).

I'd say, with all the wear on the coin and marks, AU-53

Thanks. I was hoping it would grade higher but I had a feeling the hits and marks would bring it down to AU status. I paid $12 for it, shipping included. Would you say that was a fair price?
