I picked up a bunch of PL sets including a really nice 1937 date set.

The whole set was nice, especially the dollar. Thoughts on grade? I don;t know much at all about grading George VI halves, but as I look on line a lot of the MS coins seem to have obverse abrasions like this one.

Thoughts? Look ICCS-worthy to me.

Since ICCS looks for marks, these would not be worth spending money for certification. Pictures are quite dark from here but the coins look baggy. Still fairly nice coins though.

To me, looks like both are solid ms63's.

Thanks all. I think I will send them in. I would be very happy with 62 or 63. If they make that, I think it is worth the $7.50 or so.

The last photos did not do them justice. I am pleased.

Nice coins and nice grades smallcentguy, I would also be pleased although didn't quite expect them to grade that high but then what do I know. Less than many, more than a few....and the more I learn I find there is an alarming increase in the things I no absolutely nothing about.....lol

Very nice! :) I really like the reverse of the dollar but I believe ICCS does most of the grading on the obverse. Glad it came out a 64
