Forgot to post this from the Rosemont coin show.
My favorite exhibit, even though there were two of them.

It's better in person than on the photo though.
Sorry for ruining it

I'm keeping my avatar as it is :D
The Lincoln display isn't mine to take credit for so I won't be using it as an avatar. Besides, the parakeets on my avatar are mine and are so adorable.

Oh my, that's cool. And come to think of it, for some time I've been hoarding 1, 2 and 5 euro cents for something 'artistic' myself. Shame I don't have much of talent for visual arts :)

Interesting work of art. Are the pennies permanently attached so it can be moved and stored, or just arrainged for a one time showing? Since the image comes from different tones of tarnish it would be difficult to preserve.

I think that they are attached, otherwise, what was the point of the picture frame.

They could make it out of altered 44 d to 14 d cents. I've seen enough ebay posts here to make multiples of these.

Google penny floor.

There are a ton penny floors, bar tops, art, etc using the toning to create contrast.

Now if that is the original design that is floating around the web then congrats to the exhibitor. If it is a copycat well then . . .

If anyone has the crochet / cross stitch pattern using Red / RB / Brown let me know as I would like to build one. I guess I go and count it out but it is always easier to cheat off someone elses test.

I think this one has some AT coins in it
