Ok so I've been doing a little buying here and there and I recently bought a Jackie Kennedy coin for my mother. I like the fact that they are 24k but it doesn't seem like there is a real demand for them. I've seen some sights and ebay that you can buy the earlier one (i.e. '07's) for close to spot. Does anyone collect these. Good investment?

I don't collect them, but I have a few market insights.
Mainly, the series, while very low mintage, just doesn't see a huge following. This has hurt the short term value of the series but may help it in the long run if more people collect it (that's a bit of a big if, though).
Likewise, the 2007's were minted in very large quantities, so they may be worth around spot for years to come.
All told, in my opinion, I would not consider them to be a good investment.

Is there going to be a Nancy Reagan medal? Not that I want one. Just wonder what the rule is?

There were potential desig images released back in June http://www.coinnews.net/2015/06/23/...oin-designs/ There was nothing in the law that prohibited the issuance of a First Spouse coin if the she was alive. The law only prohibited the issuance of the dollar coin while any ex-President is still living. -MV

I find this image to be a token sold on Amazon. Here is another on called the indecision coin. Apparently we don't have any pictures of the Clinton First Spouse coin available yet ?

In 2007 I entertained this set and got all four from the mint. Then gold quadrupled and I gave up the quest. Now I would pick some up if near spot if I had the funds. I have decided to focus on the four non spouse coins as they have an example of classic designs.

I don't think we're ever going to see a Hillary Clinton "first spouse". The program, being tied to the Presidential dollars, is effectively over unless they revive it when our now-living presidents are no longer living.

Yeah, those Hillary coins are fantasy pieces, not an official part of the First Spouse program.

The Hillary Clinton one you posted (the first one) would never be the image used. It isn't flattering and it is more like she looks now. They'd do one of her in the 90s. Whatever one's personal political leanings are, I think it is reasonable to expect that when you put someone on a coin that it is a good portrait of them. They'd probably also hold off on it if she became President if for nothing else then it probably would violate the law about living Presidents on coins.
