Less than a week ago I created a website www.coinageking.com At the least, I figured I would try it out for a month or two. I would like your opinions, comments, suggestions, ideas, questions, etc. It is not completely finished yet. Edited by rage1398 09/21/2015 10:18 pm

Looks good! Only thing that stopped me from my own site are fees. Ecrater has a tiny fee.

I think it looks easy enough to navigate from the title tabs. Photography and presentation looks clean and ordered. Also you have registered a great name , hopefully this will show up in searches, you need to consider how best to maximise this aspect. *** Edited by Staff - Please review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. ***

This is very well done for both a work in progress and a template website. I have a couple of suggestions: I would recommend changing the background texture (or shrinking its file size), takes a bit longer to load than it really should. The second suggestion would be to use drop down menus for your sub menus or find a way to make your sub menus stand out more. You want your site as easy to navigate as possible.
What kind of control do you have over the meta code?
Feel free to PM if you have any web design questions. Web design is a hobby of mine and I do websites on the side from time to time so I know a thing or two.

nice starter web site. but my question is; most all of your coins are TPG and are inexpensive . I don't send coins in for grading, (No knowledge of cost.) wouldn't the cost of slabbing all those coins be way above your selling prices ?

The original owner of the slabbed coins must of paid at least $30 or more to have them graded. I bought them for a very small fraction of what they must have paid to have them graded.

I guess I cant use their name, but it looks like you're giving the place for inexpensive slabs a run for the money. Nothing to add, except seeing those "sold out" bummed me a bit.

Posssssssssssibly a great idea. However, sort of reminds me of VHS tapes. Not to long ago companies came out with movies on VHS tapes. One store after another opened up with those for rent or sale. Eventually the bigger stores too did that and just to many around. Now all gone due to things like DVD's, net flex, etc. Even so just got to be to many and people couldn't figure out where to or where not to go. All sort of a pessimistic attitude but one more web site about coins may be a bit to late. Especially with competitors like ebay. Good luck though.

Oh let the guy have some fun with this. obviously more of a hobby pastime then a business. Like OP says , he bought the slabs at a very small fraction of what previous owner what have paid to have the slabbed and graded.

Plus as well it might be a good platform to attract offers of coins from Jo public looking to sell collections etc. Looks great and like he says nothing much to loose giving it a whirl for a couple months :]
